✳ MICROSOFT TEAMS DEVELOPMENT

Bring your processes to where people already work.

We build Microsoft Teams apps that put requests, approvals and information inside the conversations your people already have: tabs and personal apps, bots, message extensions and Adaptive Card notifications — backed by SharePoint and Microsoft 365.

A consulting and development service — scoped and quoted per project. Looking for a ready-made app? See our products.

Brillienta Employee Directory profile with contact details, Teams presence and a button to start a Teams chat

Built by us: a people directory that shows Teams presence and opens chats.

01 / PROBLEMS WE SOLVE

Sound familiar?

The situations that usually lead teams to us.

People switch between too many tools

Requests and approvals live in separate systems that people forget to check.

Approvals wait in inboxes

Managers miss approval emails; a card in Teams gets answered in seconds.

Teams sprawl

Teams and channels are created ad hoc, with no naming, ownership or lifecycle.

Notifications nobody reads

Systems send emails that would be more useful as actionable messages in the right channel.

02 / CAPABILITIES

What we build.

Pick one or combine them. Every engagement starts from the business problem, not the technology.

03 / ARCHITECTURE & SECURITY

How we build it.

The same rules we follow in our own products — documented in our security overview and trust center.

  1. Identity from Entra IDApps use single sign-on and the user's own permissions, so there are no new accounts to manage.
  2. Data in Microsoft 365Records stay in SharePoint, Dataverse or your Azure subscription — agreed with you up front.
  3. Admin-approved deploymentApps are published through your Teams admin center and app permission policies.
  4. Documented permissionsEvery Graph permission and why it is needed, written down for your security review.

04 / TYPICAL SOLUTIONS

What teams ask us for.

Representative solution types — every project is scoped to your process.

Approval apps

Requests and approvals answered on Adaptive Cards in Teams.

Service desk in Teams

Raise and track requests from a tab or a bot.

Team provisioning

New teams created from templates with the right owners and settings.

Notifications

Alerts from line-of-business systems posted to the right channel.

05 / HOW A PROJECT RUNS

Four stages.
Each with an output.

Fixed scope where it can be, flexible where it must be. See ways to engage: assessment, project build, dedicated team or support.

Discover

Workshops with the people who do the work. Output: requirements, constraints and an estimate.

Design

Architecture, permissions and screens. Output: a prototype and a fixed plan.

Build & test

Short iterations with demos on your tenant. Output: tested, packaged releases.

Launch & hand over

Rollout, training and admin guides. Output: a solution your team can run.

06 / RELATED PRODUCTS

is one we already made.

QUESTIONS

Before you
get in touch.

Talk to a Microsoft 365 engineer ↗
Can an existing SharePoint app run in Teams?

Usually yes. SPFx web parts can be added as Teams tabs or personal apps, often with small layout changes.

Do Teams apps need a separate server?

Tabs built with SPFx do not. Bots need a hosted service, which we deploy to your Azure subscription.

How are Teams apps deployed?

Through your Teams admin center, so your administrators control who can install and use them.

Can approvals work on mobile?

Yes. Adaptive Cards and tabs work in the Teams mobile apps.
