Departments
Every department gets its own page with its people, head, locations and roles — as cards or a headcount chart. Admins add a description, head, colour and parent department.

My profile & change requests

Good to know
- The scheduled sync and daily reminders run when an admin opens the directory.
- Event emails come from the person whose action triggers them; Enterprise can use a shared mailbox.
- “HR only” is an in-app control — keep confidential HR data in your HR system.
- Designed for organisations of up to roughly 10,000–20,000 people, searched in the browser.
- Graph permission approval in Microsoft 365 is tenant-wide for SPFx solutions.
How does the data stay current?
Automatic Microsoft Graph sync from Entra ID. Only changes are written, leavers are deactivated, and a safeguard stops mass deactivations.
Can employees correct wrong data without IT?
Yes. Change requests go to HR, approved values survive every sync, and nobody can approve their own request.
Can we prove who changed what?
Yes. The audit log, sync history and reminder log live in your site, and SharePoint keeps version history.
Does it work on phones and in Teams?
Yes. The layout adapts to phone width, and the package supports Teams tabs and personal apps.
What happens to our data if we stop?
It stays in your SharePoint lists.
